Public School Drive Helps Northlands Primary

Pupils at Northlands Primary School in Pembroke received new school supplies donated by Support Public Schools Bermuda (SPS) as part of a two-day distribution effort delivering $31,085 in goods to schools throughout Bermuda.

Acting Principal Tamica Darrell praised the initiative, stating that contributions "play a vital role in enriching the learning experience and ensuring that every child has the tools they need to succeed academically." She encouraged other organisations and residents to support similar programmes.

Founded in 2018, SPS addresses resource disparities between public and private schools. Over eight years, SPS has distributed approximately $600,000 in new supplies plus hundreds of thousands in second-hand equipment.
