SPS Donates $28K To Public Primary Schools

Support Public Schools (SPS.bm) delivered over $28,000 in school supplies to Bermuda's 17 public primary schools on June 11-12, 2024. The donation included $23,000 in new purchases, more than $5,000 in paper supplies (65 cases), second-hand books, puzzles, learning games, 12 computer monitors, and a photocopier.

Major contributors this term included the Bermuda Bar Association, which raised $7,935 through a Legal Fraternity Charity Walk. Lancashire Re donated $6,250 in gardening supplies to Harrington Sound School and Purvis Primary for environmental initiatives.

Since founding in 2018, SPS has contributed over $548,000 in new supplies and hundreds of thousands in second-hand office and school equipment to public schools.
